WNY Stand Down will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 1001 E. Delavan Ave., Buffalo.
Organizers said, “At one convenient location, participating veterans will have access to health care screenings, personal care service, information to connect with other services, agencies and PACT Act toxic screening. Resources include: disability benefits, legal services, social and family services, onsite medical services, podiatry, PACT Act eligibility and enrollment, veterans benefits, housing resources, VA health care screening, onsite pet wellness checks, dental and vision.
