Heavy rains saturated the grounds at the Ransomville Speedway Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, forcing speedway management to cancel the July 27 racing program for the SANY New York/Burris Racing go-karts.
Drivers and crews are encouraged to keep their wristbands to use for entry for next Thursday night.
The “Little R” go-kart exhibition will be scheduled for Friday, Aug. 11, instead of July 28, due to scheduling conflicts.
Racing at the “Little R” continues Thursday, Aug. 3, with a full card of racing, featuring the Sr Heavy makeup feature from June 22. The SANY New York/Burris Racing go-kart weekly racing series points will resume Thursday, Aug. 3. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m., and racing will get underway shortly after 7 p.m. Pit admission is $20 for drivers, $15 for everyone else. As always, the concession stand will be open, and grandstand admission is free.
The “Little R” would like to thank all the divisional sponsors for continuing their support of the future stars of racing: Mike Barry Motors (Sr Heavy), Fisher’s Auto Repair (Sr Lites), Frontier Auto Wrecking (Junior 3), SJE Shocks (Junior 2), Slack Karts (Junior 1) and Just Signs & Designs (Novice).
