#FrysWithEyes finally made their way back to the Lewiston waterfront.
The Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce presented the Smelt Festival on Friday outside of the Griffon Brewery & Gastropub. Traditionally the first festival of the summer season, the popular gathering paused during the pandemic. It returned with large crowds, trays of fried fish, live music from The Brothers of Invention, and plenty of socialization.
Smelt Festival is sponsored by DiMino’s Lewiston Tops. Proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Niagara River Anglers Association.
