Preorder available now here; third studio album expected this fall

Press Release

Nashville-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Caroline Jones, who officially joined Zac Brown Band as the first and only female, announced her third EP, “Superpower,” will be released on Friday, May 19. Preorder is available here: https://biglink.to/CarolineJones.

Written and co-produced by Jones, “Superpower” features five tracks that embody grit and resilience, and showcase a wide range of influences from country to pop to bluegrass. The creation of “Superpower” has deep roots in the Nashville creative community, as it was co-produced at the iconic Blackbird and Castle Recording Studios alongside celebrated industry veterans Ric Wake (Whitney Houston, Celine Dion) and Brandon Hood (Brett Eldredge, Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt), and includes features and credits from respected artists such as Vince Gill, Alyssa Bonagura, Pete Good and Brandon Ratcliff.

Of the five tracks on “Superpower,” Jones previously released “Lawless,” an electrifying song filled with hooky melodies, as well as “Keep It Safe” ft. Alyssa Bonagura, which is a nod to the sounds of ’90s country and pop. Today, Jones also released “Superpower,” a track that asks if the journey to self-assessment and growth is worth it, despite career building, heartbreaks and unexpected paths.

Jones officially joined Grammy-Award winning Zac Brown Band as a full-time band member in 2022. Along with touring with the band for her fifth consecutive summer stadium tour for “From The Fire Tour,” the singer-songwriter is also headlining her own shows as she continues to build her core fanbase in preparation for her forthcoming album release this fall. Her sophomore album, “Antipodes” (November 2021), debuted at No. 4 on the iTunes country charts and featured her first Top 30 hit, “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable),” which has become a TikTok sensation with its viral line dance that’s racked in over 539 million views and counting.

More About Caroline Jones

As with her debut album, “Bare Feet” (August 2017), Caroline co-produced “Antipodes” with Ric Wake (Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston), performed the majority of the instruments, and solo wrote the majority of the tracks. “Antipodes” also features collaborations with industry heavy-hitters Zac Brown, Joe Bonamassa, Mac McAnally, and Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey.

Caroline’s skilled musicianship and addictive, foot-stomping hits have led to performances on “The Tonight Show,” “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” “The Today Show,” as well as multiple appearances at the legendary Grand Ole Opry. Perhaps most impressive about Jones’ young career is the list of mentors who have taken her under their wing and on tour, including Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, Jake Owen, Trisha Yearwood, The Eagles, OneRepublic, and most significantly, Jimmy Buffett and the Zac Brown Band.

Buffett, notorious for having no openers, brought Caroline out as an opening act and special guest in 2018 and 2019, which was followed by a distribution deal with his label, Mailboat Records, for the release of her debut album, and the release of “Gulf Coast Girl” featuring Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Mac McAnally and Lukas Nelson. The breezy summer track, which was written specifically for Caroline by Buffett and McAnally, debuted at JazzFest in 2019 and quickly became a hit on SiriusXM’s “The Highway,” helping the video reach nearly 2 million views.

Caroline first opened for Zac Brown Band on their 2017 tour and, following three consecutive years as their staple opening act, joined the band as a special guest in 2021. Highlights with the group include performing at the 2021 CMA Awards, opening for The Rolling Stones at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium and performing as Dolly Parton's band for her Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induction. In 2022, Jones reunited with Zac Brown Band as a special guest in their “Out In The Middle Tour,” performing at iconic venues such as Citi Field, Fenway Park, Hollywood Bowl and Wrigley Field among other anticipated highlights – ultimately joining the band as a full-time band member.

In March, ZBB headlined international shows in London, Glasgow and Dublin as part of the “C2C: Country to Country” festival and at “CMC Rocks” in Australia, where Caroline also performed her own solo sets. This summer, Caroline will be back on tour with ZBB for their U.S. “From The Fire Tour,” where they will play over 30 shows, including a return to Fenway Park, where they have sold out 13 times previously – while popping up at key festivals and headlining her own shows in support of her forthcoming studio album, expected this fall.
