On the afternoon of Friday, April 7, Niagara Falls Police detectives charged two juveniles for their involvement in an attack that was video recorded and distributed on social media. The two male suspects, ages 15 and 16, were both charged with assault in the third degree and, pursuant to state law, were issued appearance tickets to report to Niagara County Probation Department. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 4, in the 2500 block of Niagara Street. A 17-year-old male victim sustained minor injuries.
Due to the ages of the suspects, their names will not be released.
