14 companies receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business certification

Commissioner Jeanette Moy announced the following 14 businesses were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development:

√ Combat Builders Inc., located in Dickinson Center, specializes in residential and commercial construction.

√ Seneca View Transport LLC, located in Montour Falls, provides general freight trucking services.

√ Buono Construction LLC, located in Binghamton, is a contractor specializing in site preparation.

√ Voltran LLC, located in Lynbrook, is a general contractor.

√ Nova Cyber Systems LLC, located in Cazenovia, specializes in cybersecurity and database management.

√ Apex Solutions Group LLC, located in Newark, New Jersey, provides management and logistics consulting.

√ Guardian Shrink Wrap, located in Lewiston, specializes in framing, packing, and shrink-wrapping.

√ Vallely Industries LLC, located in Howard Beach, is a business consulting company.

√ Dewgro LLC, located in Islip Terrace, is a flag reseller.

√ ALOCS LLC, located in Harrisburg, North Carolina, is a real estate agency.

√ FCH Renovations LLC, located in Long Island City, specializes in residential and commercial construction.

√ Hollywell Partners LLC, located in Tampa, Florida, provides accounting services.

√ Boom’s Inc., located in Bolivar, is a general contractor.

√ Axe Realty NYC LLC, located in the Bronx, is a real estate agency and brokerage.

“I’d like to congratulate the 14 service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVOBs) that were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development,” Moy said. “I encourage all New Yorkers to join the state in showing our appreciation for veterans and their families by supporting veteran-owned businesses.”

The division was created in May 2014 with the enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 1,078 certified businesses.

The act promotes and encourages the participation of service-disabled veteran-owned businesses in New York state public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the state.
