Niagara Men’s basketball closed off the weekend with a hard-breaking loss to St. Peter’s university, Sunday afternoon, Feb. 26, at home in the Gallagher Center.
With the regular season coming to a close, a win at cross-town rival Canisius will be huge for the Purple Eagles.
According to Niagara’s head coach, Greg Paulus, post-season play is a big opportunity.
“For us to have this opportunity is one we don’t take for granted … to have these moments is something you hope to just take advantage of,” he said.
The Purple Eagles are in a three-way tie for fifth place with Quinnipiac and Manhattan.
The MAAC Tournament will begin March 7 and conclude March 11. The tournament is located in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
