The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier is accepting applications for the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier Munk/Human scholarships for Niagara and Erie County women returning to post-secondary education for the 2023 fall semester. Scholarships in excess of $5,000 are available.
To be eligible, potential recipients must meet the following criteria:
√ Be a nontraditional female student, with ties to Niagara County, pursuing a higher education. The selection committee will use the National Center for Educational Statistics’ definition of a nontraditional students (including, but not limited to, full-time or part-time students).
√ Students pursuing any higher-education following high school or achievement of a GED will be considered for award. This includes, but is not limited to, students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or associated degree, as well as accreditation and certification programs.
Students residing in Niagara County or who have used the services of the YWCA of Niagara Frontier will be given preference.
