ECMC, Tim Hortons partner to support frontline care services

Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign raises nearly $700,000 in 5 consecutive years to benefit ECMC

For a fifth consecutive year, Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) Corp. and Tim Hortons restaurants partnered to support the institution’s frontline care services, raising $146,745 during the campaign that ran Sept. 19-25.

In 2021, the joint effort raised $135,567. In 2020, it raised $135,879. In 2019, it raised $167,498, and in 2018, it raised close to $95,000, for a five-year total of $697,057.

As in previous years, 100% of proceeds from Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign throughout Western New York will go this year to ECMC’s frontline care services. Each Smile Cookie costs $1. The 148 Tim Hortons (@timhortonsus) restaurant locations in Western New York participated in the 2022 campaign benefitting ECMC.
