Comedian Robert Klein to perform at The Bear's Den Showroom May 19-20

The weather is warming up, and so is the entertainment lineup at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. On Monday, the entertainment and resort destination announced comedian Robert Klein will perform a two-night set in The Bear’s Den Showroom on Friday, May 19, and Saturday, May 20 (8 p.m.). These shows are part of the “Barrel of Laughs” comedy series.Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, Feb. 24.

A press release noted, “Robert Klein is a true comedy legend. From stand-up to the silver screen to Broadway, Klein has been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years. Known for his pioneering observational style of comedy and his sharp wit, Klein has influenced generations of comedians.

“After starting his career as a member of the famed Second City comedy troupe in Chicago, Klein rose to stardom beginning in the 1970s. He starred in HBO’s first stand-up special, and has gone on to appear in a total of nine comedy specials on the network, garnering two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. His four comedy albums have produced two Grammy Award nominations. In addition, Klein has appeared in several Broadway productions, earning a Tony Award nomination along the way. He has also hosted ‘Saturday Night Live,’ as well as his own late-night talk show. As an actor, Klein has appeared in several major motion pictures and popular network television programs.”

This is an 18-years-and-older show. Tickets start at $35.
