Acoustic show held as fundraiser for Kenan Center programming
The Strictly Hip will perform a special one-night only concert at the Kenan Center’s Taylor Theater, 433 Locust St., Lockport, on Saturday, Jan. 14. This concert will be unique in the fact that it will be intimate and unplugged, featuring an all-acoustic set.
This concert will also be a special fundraiser for art, education and recreation programming held at the Kenan Center.
A press release said, “The Strictly Hip are the masters of the music by The Tragically Hip. The band has spent years performing, respectfully and accurately recreating the music of Canada's most popular rock band with painstaking attention to musical detail.”
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the concert starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 each and include entry into a drawing to win Niagara Wine and Beer Fest tickets. There will also be a basket raffle, 50/50 split and a donation-based bar.
Tickets can be purchased at kenancenter.ticketleap.com. For more information about other upcoming events held at the Kenan Center, visit www.kenancenter.org.
