Envision Benefits Group opens in Tonawanda

Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas Executive Director Sarah Nelson welcomed the organization’s newest member, Envision Benefits Group, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. She said, “Envision Benefits Group joins the growing list of businesses relocating or opening in the Tonawandas.”

Founded in 2020 by President Kristin Devereaux, SHRM-CP, Envision Benefits Group moved to Tonawanda at the end of August.

Nelson stated, “EBG focuses on helping businesses with everything relating to employees. From HR consulting to payroll to employee benefits, EBG helps guide businesses in areas that often are undervalued, overlooked, overpriced or simply done wrong.”

With almost 20 years of experience in the HR and benefits business, Devereaux made the decision to go out on her own in March of 2020. She’s been adding to the team ever since.

Currently, EBG is an all-female business. Stephanie DiGesare serves as director of finance and operations, while Kristin Filipiak supports the team as marketing and operations assistant.

“With the addition of Jennifer Fidanza as our client specialist and account manager to our team in August, we simply outgrew our space on Sheridan Drive in Amherst,” Devereaux said. “As luck would have it, our clients at Snyder Industries invited us to share space with them, and here we are.”
