Song goes for radio adds on Oct. 24
Multi-Platinum-selling artist Justin Moore taps country newcomer Priscilla Block for his next radio single, “You, Me, And Whiskey,” available today via The Valory Music Co.
A press release said, “Written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill and Cole Taylor, “You, Me, And Whiskey” continues to carry Moore’s signature torch of neotraditional twang, set to lyrics that have a storyline a bit unexpected after reading the title.”
“You read ‘You, Me, and Whiskey,’ and you think spring break, hookup, whatever, but for me, as a guy who’s been married for 15 years with four beautiful children, it’s about making time for your romantic relationship,” Moore said. “Our children are priorities in our lives, but we also have to make ‘us’ a priority. That’s what the song represents to me, but the best thing about country music is that it can mean many things to many different people.”
Block said, “Anyone can relate to it, because it’s about taking time to work on the things you really need to as a person and in your relationships.”
Produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta, the single follows Moore’s most recent track “With A Woman You Love,” a song that earned the Arkansas native his 11th No. 1 on country radio. This track serves as the second preview of what fans can expect from Moore’s sixth studio album, due 2023 via The Valory Music Co.
