Tickets go on sale Sept. 16
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino has an early holiday gift for area music fans with the announcement that The Commodores will perform in the Seneca Niagara Event Center on Saturday, Nov. 26 (8 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, Sept. 16.
A press release said, “The Commodores have penetrated the hearts, minds and souls of music fans around the globe with their unmistakable blend of pop, funk and soul and their boundless energy. For more than five decades, the band earned its place in the music stratosphere with hits like ‘Easy,’ ‘Brick House,’ ‘Lady (You Bring Med Up),’ ‘Fancy Dancer,’ ‘Nightshift’ and more. The Commodores have sold more than 70 million albums worldwide with 20 Top 10 hits, and stand as one of the most successful groups from the legendary Motown label.”
Founding members Walter “Clyde” Orange and William “WAK” King, along with longtime member James Dean “JD” Nichols, will bring their music to the stage. Tickets start at $35.
