Performances by Sanremo Ieri E Oggi, Everclear, Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari at The Avalon

Fallsview Casino has announced another round of live entertainment.

Celebrated annually in the city of Sanremo, Italy, the acclaimed Sanremo Music Festival brings a talented mix of artists to the Avalon Theatre. On Aug. 6 and 7, singer and television sensation Gigi Vigliani hosts international stars Mal, Cosetta Gigli and Riccardo Fogli and his band, as they deliver performances with their award-winning Italian hits.

On Aug. 27, for one night only, experience Everclear. Their career has spanned 11 studio albums, numerous videos, thousands of shows, and accolades that include a 1998 Grammy nomination. The band is still performing hits including "Santa Monica" and "Father Of Mine." They will be performing with special guest Marcy Playground, who is celebrating over 25 years of touring and recording since their 1997 breakthrough hit "Sex and Candy.”

And on Sept. 18, Italian legend Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari will be performing live at the Avalon Theatre. With a career spanning over three decades, and selling more than 60 million records across the globe, Zucchero's music blends soul, jazz, rock and blues, as he is constantly reinventing the boundaries of music genres. Among Zucchero's hit songs are “Senza Una Donna,” “Diamante” and “Cosi' Celeste.”
