The Rich Entertainment Group and Buffalo Waterfront Management Group announce The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra with The Strictly Hip will play the Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series at the Lakeside Event Lawn presented by the Upstate Honda Dealers. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. July 22.

The two Buffalo franchises – the BPO and The Strictly Hip – will collaborate to celebrate the music of The Tragically Hip. For 25 years, The Strictly Hip have devoutly spread the good word of The Tragically Hip's music far and wide, taking an academic and curatorial approach to performing the music of Canada's most popular band. The music of The Tragically Hip is presented with reverence, respect and accuracy.

In 2017, Bradley Thachuk, The Strictly Hip and the BPO premiered a new collection of classic Tragically Hip songs featuring a full symphony orchestra. For this show, the BPO with conductor Stefan Sanders will present a program of Tragically Hip hits and fan favorites at Buffalo's Outer Harbor concert venue.

General on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, at www.buffalowaterfront.com/concerts.

The BPO and The Strictly Hip join the previously announced T-Pain, Ja Rule, Jimmie Allen, moe., Taking Back Sunday, and Nas on the Seneca Outer Harbor Concert Series 2022 lineup, with future shows to be announced. For the latest updates or to purchase tickets to all Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series shows, visit Buffalo Waterfront’s website and social media channels.

The Lakeside Event Lawn presented by the Upstate Honda Dealers is located at 825 Fuhrmann Blvd., on Buffalo’s Outer Harbor. The parking lots adjacent to the venue are free to event ticketholders and will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis, opening at 5 p.m. Additional street parking is available along Fuhrmann. The venue strongly encourages ride-sharing and alternate modes of transportation when possible. A Reddy Bike station is located adjacent to the venue along Fuhrmann.
