Tops Friendly Markets and the Taste of Buffalo announced Cameryn Zastrow, a talented artist from North Tonawanda, is the grand prizewinner of the 2022 Taste of Buffalo Tops poster art contest.

Cameryn was the winner for artists in the 13-17-year-old age group. Her artwork will be featured on the festival poster and in the event’s marketing materials. In addition, Cameryn will receive a $1,000 prize.

Karen Hilbert, a resident of Orchard Park, was the winner in the 18-year-old-plus age group and will be presented with $500. The prizes are courtesy of Tops Friendly Markets and The Taste of Buffalo.

“We are so impressed with Cameryn’s abilities as a high school student and talented artist, incorporating so many elements that perfectly represent our festival. The herd of Buffalo, a wide variety of food just like our restaurants offer, and the street signs all showcase the best of the Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops,” said Luke Baecker, 2022 Taste of Buffalo chair. “Cameryn’s design can be enjoyed by everyone on this year’s festival poster, which will be displayed inside all of our participating restaurants, and on the cover of our digital festival guide available at TasteofBuffalo.com.”

The festival will return on July 9-10 and will be back in size to its typical footprint in Niagara Square and on a portion of Delaware Avenue.

Organizers said, “We’re looking forward to hosting extraordinary chefs from Buffalo once again on our live culinary stage, and presale food ticket vouchers will also be available for purchase at Tops Markets locations beginning in June.”
