Kleinhans Music Hall announced its annual fundraiser, “Rhythm and Brews,” will take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in the Mary Seaton Room at the famed Buffalo venue. The event was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Buffalocal will again bring together wide representation from the Western New York brewery scene, including Britesmith Brewing, Pressure Drop Brewing, Community Beer Works, Flying Bison Brewing Co., Southern Tier Brewing Co., Steelbound Brewery, Ellicottville Brewing Co., Hamburg Brewing Co., 42 North Brewing Co., 12 Gates Brewing Co., Resurgence Brewing Co., BlackBird Cider Works and Big Ditch Brewing Co.
In addition to selections from 12 breweries, patrons will be able to taste high-end cuisine courtesy of Oliver's, Marcato by SEAR, Britesmith and Creekview Restaurant, all part of the Schutte Hospitality Group. Proceeds from the event will benefit Kleinhans Music Hall's programming, including the annual “National Geographic Live” speakers series and the upkeep of this National Historic Landmark building.
General admission event tickets are $45, but VIP tickets are available for $75 and include early admission at 5:30 p.m., first tasting of brews, and reserved table seating. All patrons will receive a commemorative Belgian beer glass.
Organizer said, “True to the very nature of the venue, music will be provided by Carina and the Six String Preacher, followed by the Girls of Grosh. Carina and the Six String Preacher’s signature sound, featuring trio Carina M., Vincent James Mastrantonio and Erik Eimiller, is a modern-day jazz noir with a twist, a spicy blend of crime jazz, surf, Latin and pop, with a touch of blood and a dash of cinnamon. Girls of Grosh features the ever-amazing Grace Lougen on guitar, and vocalist Megan Brown playing stripped-down, high-energy rock and soul, backed by drummer Josh English.
“Call now to get tickets for this fun night of Rhythm and Brews at one of Buffalo’s most treasured venues!”
