Marsha McWilson will be inducted into the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at the Rapids Theater, 1711 Main St., Niagara Falls. At the event, McWilson will perform a musical tribute to greats Aretha Franklin and Etta James. Tickets are $25 and available online athttps://www.outhousetickets.com/Event/17619-Niagara_Falls_Music_Hall_of_Fame.

McWilson has performed locally, as well as nationally and internationally, singing a combination of gospel, jazz and blues. Her resemblance to the late James is uncanny, and she’s in demand to sing “At Last” at many functions. Meanwhile, as a songwriter, her latest song, “Rona Mae Blues,” garnered media attention as she wrote and sang it in response to losing several loved ones to the coronavirus.
