From 9 p.m. to midnight Tuesday, Sept. 1, the front façade of the Riviera Theatre will be lit up. WeMakeEvents North America is spearheading the #RedAlertRESTART Day of Action, with an anticipated 1,500 buildings lit in red in more than 50 cities from coast-to-coast. The goal is to raise public awareness about the economic plight of the live events industry and urge Congress to pass the RESTART Act, as well as extend PUA and FPUC to provide financial assistance to unemployed and 1099 workers.

The Riviera Theatre and Organ Preservation Society Inc. own and operate the historic venue and Mighty WurliTzer Organ. The registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization has a mission to preserve and maintain the Historic Riviera Theatre and the Mighty WurliTzer Organ and to promote the performing arts. All proceeds go to the restoration and preservation of the Historic Riviera Theatre. Donations are tax deductible.

The Riv is located at 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda. Visit RivieraTheatre.org.
