AAF Buffalo announces 2020-21 board of directors; names new vice presidents

The American Advertising Federation of Buffalo (AAF Buffalo) has announced its 2020-21 board of directors, including new vice presidents of communications and programming.

With roots in the community dating 50 years, AAF Buffalo supports and connects communications professionals in Western New York. As a nonprofit organization, the club is managed by a volunteer board of marketing professionals representing advertising agencies and companies throughout Western New York. AAF Buffalo finished the 2019-20 membership year with 300 members.

McKenna Murray, project manager at Barclay Damon LLP, was named vice president of communications of the board for the 2020-21 membership year. This will be Murray’s second year on the board. Jeff Quinn, account executive for Luminus, was named vice president of programming. This will be Quinn’s second year on the board. Josh Gumulak, senior account executive at FARM, will serve his second year as president of AAF Buffalo.

In addition to Murray, Quinn, and Gumulak, executive committee members include:

  • Treasurer – Alex Keogan, account executive, Hadley Exhibits

New board members elected to serve a three-year term are:

  • Shannon Polvino, PR and account manager, Insight Strategies
  • Mary Amenta, senior account executive, Mower Agency
  • Sky Stage, director of marketing, Sinatra and Co./Villa Maria College
  • Cody Andres, graphic designer, The Martin Group
  • Sarah Warner, founder, Set Strategies LLC
  • Kaitlyn Affuso, marketing coordinator, Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP
  • Adina Pera, senior project manager, Crowley Webb

Returning board members continuing a three-year term include:

  • Colleen Colkitt, account executive, Quinlan
  • Jordan Lema, president/CEO, Lemur Studios
  • Sam Lonczak, graphic designer, FIFTEEN
  • Caroline Jette, graphic designer, Delaware North
  • Maura Noonan, digital media and content manager, FARM
  • Katie Hazel, associate creative director, Crowley Webb
  • Tina Pastwik returns as the AAF Buffalo’s administrative assistant. Laurie McMurray from SUNY Buffalo State will serve as the board’s student liaison.
