It was an agenda full of procedural matters at the Town of Niagara’s board meeting on Tuesday. The board passed all items unanimously with little discussion.
The agenda included:
•A resolution to approve the extension of the fire district protection agreement between the Town of Niagara and the Niagara Active Hose Co., incorporated for a one-year period from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2021, on the same terms as the final year of the existing agreement. That includes the payment of the sum of $390,000 payable in two equal installments on Jan. 15 and June 15, and authorizing the town supervisor to sign the first amendment to the agreement on behalf of the Town of Niagara.
•A resolution to approve the combination of lots request of Harold and Amber Wollaber of 8280 Third Ave. (tax map No. 146.13-2-82 and 17).
•A resolution to accept the audit report from Lumsden and McCormick on the 2016 Active Hose Fire departmental audit.
•A resolution to declare a negative declaration on the SEQRA for the combination of lots request of Benderson Development Co. (tax map No. 145.14-3-3 and 145.15- 2-1).
•A resolution to approve the combination of lots request of Benderson Development Co.
•A resolution to call for a public hearing for the special use permit request of Cingular Wireless (AT&T) for a new telecommunication facility (tax map No. 132.14-1-4). The location is said to be on the corner of Lockport and Tuscarora roads.
•A resolution to declare negative declaration on SEQRA for construction materials manufacturing facility to be located at 4660 Witmer Road (tax map No. 130.11-1- 4.2).
•A resolution to approve the final site plan request of 4660 Witmer Road LLC for a construction material manufacturing facility to be located at 4660 Witmer Road (tax map No. 130.11-1-4.2).
•A resolution to approve the repair of the JD 544H loader by Five Star Equipment Inc., a sole source JD dealer, for the amount not to exceed $6,414.68.
•A resolution to post and hire for the MEO position in the Highway Department.
•A resolution to approve the 2020 supplement 1 of the 284 agreement to spend highway funds for paving.
