Kelton Enterprises will operate Tim Hortons location at LECOM Harborcenter, bringing its portfolio to 31 franchises

Pegula Sports & Entertainment on Monday announced a partnership with Kelton Enterprises LLC to operate the Tim Hortons Café & Bakeshop at LECOM Harborcenter, which reopens Tuesday.

“When opening our Tim Hortons franchise in 2014, we created a unique location that tells the story of Tim Horton’s career and Buffalo’s history in a way unlike any other,” PSE President and CEO Kim Pegula said. “Today, we’re proud to partner with Kelton Enterprises and welcome their extensive experience operating franchises throughout our region. Kelton will ensure an optimal experience for all Tim Hortons customers visiting this unique Canalside location, while our PSE hospitality team will continue to focus on serving visitors at (716) Food and Sport, The Draft Room and The Healthy Scratch.”

Tim Hortons at LECOM Harborcenter becomes the 31st location operated by Kelton Enterprises. Founded by David and Allanna Beaton in 1999, Kelton has played a major role in the growth of the Tim Hortons brand in Western New York.

“We are thrilled to partner with PSE at the LECOM Harborcenter Tim Hortons and proudly serve our legendary coffee and baked goods products,” President David Beaton said. “It is an honor to have the opportunity to operate the flagship Tim Hortons dedicated to his legacy as a Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman, entrepreneurial business career, and Buffalo Sabres history. Canalside is a showcase to the world, and we are happy to be a part of the resurgence in Downtown Buffalo.”

Tim Hortons Café and Bakeshop at LECOM Harborcenter originally opened in October 2014 and continues to be dedicated to telling the story of Tim Horton’s hockey career, Buffalo’s Memorial Auditorium and the city’s history on the Erie Canal. The location is highlighted by a special logo that combines the Buffalo Sabres mark with an original Tim Hortons logo, along with unique displays that tell the story of Horton’s career and the history of the Aud. Unique seating inside the restaurant is designed in the likeness of the blue section of the Aud, featuring Horton’s No. 2 as seat numbers. The restaurant’s design features high ceilings and brick walls that are reminiscent of Buffalo’s historic, industrial days at the foot of the Erie Canal.

Tim Hortons at LECOM Harborcenter will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition to dining room walk-in service, mobile app ordering, Door Dash delivery, and catering orders are welcome.
