Jac Collinsworth hosts new 'Distanced Training: Ready to Get Back in the Game' series across NBC Sports digital platforms, as sports personalities adapt training

Hosted by Jac Collinsworth, NBC Sports’ new digital series, “Distanced Training: Ready to Get Back in the Game,” debuted Wednesday, providing fans with “a day in the life” of some of the top professional, collegiate and Olympic athletes via exclusive home footage. The daily shows are available across NBC Sports’ digital properties, including NBC Sports’ YouTube channel, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and NBC Sports’ social media accounts.

In each 30-minute episode, Collinsworth will explore how athletes stay physically and mentally sharp as they adapt their training under social distancing guidelines. Throughout the series, Collinsworth will be joined virtually by more than 20 professional, collegiate and Olympic athletes, who will share their weekly home workouts, mental training, and daily spare time activities.

For this week’s series premiere, Collinsworth is joined by NBC Sports hockey analyst and 2018 Olympic women’s hockey team gold-medalist Kendall Coyne Schofield and her husband, NFL offensive lineman and Super Bowl 50 champion Michael Schofield; NBC Sports motorsports analyst and INDYCAR driver for Andretti Autosport, James Hinchcliffe; Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph; Buffalo Sabres all-star center Jack Eichel; Notre Dame defensive lineman Julian Okwara; and Premier Lacrosse League co-founder and Atlas midfielder Paul Rabil.

Future featured guests include: NASCAR driver of the No. 10 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing Aric Almirola; U.S. Sevens team co-captain Abby Gustaitis and her husband, NBC Sports analyst and former Aviva Premiership Rugby player, Alex Corbisiero; and NBC “Sunday Night Football” sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
