Season passes still available at 2019 rates
Snow may be on the ground and the temperatures a little chilly, but golf is already on the minds of the staff at the Niagara County Golf Course.
“It’s never too early to start planning for the 2020 golf season,” said head greenskeeper Tom Farrell. “That goes for both our staff and the golfing public.”
Resident golf pro Tom Yeager said county residents can now purchase a season pass at 2019 rates, but that price will only be held until Feb. 22. In addition, those interested in booking tournaments or other special events can call the golf course about availability.
“We want to encourage people to take advantage of the lower price of the season pass,” Yeager said. “And when golfers return, they will see we continue to make improvements in the course, greens and drainage.
According to DPW Commissioner Garret Meal, Niagara County has entered into a new lease for the restaurant. CWs at the 19th Hole will be returning in 2020 with food and beverages. CW’s also is planning to continue live music on Friday evenings.
“Our course offers so much, from numerous leagues to the youth First Tee program, to lessons, game advice and full service pro shop from our golf pro Tom Yeager. The golf course has something for everyone,” Meal said.
Additional course details on events and services are available on the Niagara County Golf Course page on Facebook or at http://www.niagaracounty.com/parks/Golf-Course.
