Kenan Center announces Niagara Wine and Beer Fest vendor lineup

Event will host over 30 wineries, breweries, specialty food vendors & restaurants

The Kenan Center will present the ninth annual Niagara Wine & Beer Tasting Fest, brought to the community by Niagara’s Choice Federal Credit Union, from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Kenan Center Arena. Proceeds from the event support arts, educational and recreational programs at the Kenan Center.

“We are so excited to showcase over 30 vendors this year for attendees to enjoy and sample,” said Parrish Gibbons Herzog, PR and marketing at the Kenan Center. “All tastings are included with the ticket price, as well as a $5 food voucher to purchase meals from the on-site restaurants.”

The annual event will feature the following breweries, provided by Try It Distributing’s “Buffalocal” series:

All ticket purchasers receive a souvenir glass, tasting journal, and a $5 food voucher that can be used at one of the restaurant vendors that evening. Wine by the bottle will be for sale. The festivities include live music by The Strictly Hip, a basket raffle, 50/50 split, and photo booth. Very limited VIP tickets still available by calling the Kenan Center.

Free overflow parking with shuttle service to and from the Lockport Board of Education Building, one block north of the arena on Beattie Avenue, will again be available for all hours of the event.

Participants can take advantage of $30 pre-sale or $50 VIP tickets available at the Kenan Center business office, 433 Locust St., or at the Kenan Center Arena, 195 Beattie Ave. Tickets can also be purchased online. Admission at the door will be $35.

Designated drivers will be admitted for $10 at the door. Nonalcoholic beverages will be available for designated drivers.

This is an adult-only event open to those ages 21 and over with proper ID.
