'Arrow' to end with two-hour event Jan. 28; The CW announces midseason premiere dates

The CW Network recently announced dates for the debut of its new series “Katy Keene,” plus the returns of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” and “Roswell, New Mexico.”

A spinoff of the hit “Riverdale,” The CW’s new midseason series, “Katy Keene,” starring Lucy Hale, Ashleigh Murray, Jonny Beauchamp and Julia Chan, debuts Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020 (8 p.m. ET/PT), followed by an original episode of “Legacies” (9 p.m.).

“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” officially kicks-off its fifth season on Tuesday, Jan. 21 (9 p.m.), following an original episode of “Arrow” (8 p.m.). “Arrow” will conclude its eighth season with a two-hour event on Tuesday, Jan. 28, beginning with a finale preview (8 p.m.) followed by the series finale (9 p.m.).

“Supernatural” will move to Monday nights, making its new time period premiere on March 16 (8 p.m.), paired with the second season return of “Roswell, New Mexico” (9 p.m.). The week before, on Monday March 9, “All American” (8 p.m.) and “Black Lightning” (9 p.m.) will have their season finales.

“Supernatural” will wrap its historic 15-season journey on Monday, May 18.

The premieres of the second season of “In The Dark” and the final season of “The 100” will be announced at a later date.

“Katy Keene” follows the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters – fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene (Hale), singer/songwriter Josie McCoy (Murray), performer Jorge Lopez/Ginger (Beauchamp), and “It Girl” Pepper Smith (Chan) – as they chase their 20-something dreams in New York City … together.
