Rebecca Lynn Torres accepts award on behalf of team

Rebecca Lynn Torres, managing partner of the LongHorn Steakhouse in Niagara Falls, has been presented with the company’s “Community Spirit” award on behalf of her restaurant team. This award recognizes restaurants that consistently go above and beyond to support the communities where LongHorn Steakhouse operates.

“Beckie and her team have shown incredible dedication to serving and supporting the community,” said Brian Scott, director of operations for LongHorn Steakhouse. “Giving back is crucial to what we do, and this team makes it a priority to make a difference.”

A press release noted, “Torres and her team take pride in getting to know each of their guests and are passionate about being active in community events.

“The Niagara Falls team’s eagerness to share their time and culinary expertise with local charities has made them a beloved part of the community.”

The team hosted a holiday breakfast – complete with gifts – for 125 children from a local shelter, raised money for breast cancer research, and held pancake breakfasts for children’s athletics and pediatric cancer research. It also partnered with local charities to provide dinners for the homeless once a month.

LongHorn Steakhouse’s culture is rooted in the people who work in its restaurants. This award is part of ongoing efforts to recognize extraordinary individuals for their dedication and positive impact.

Visit Torres and her team at the Niagara Falls LongHorn Steakhouse located at 1861 Military Road. For more information about becoming part of the LongHorn team, visit www.LongHornSteakhouse.com/Careers.
