Official video out today; kicks off summer headlining ‘UR So Beautiful Tour’
Singer/songwriter Grace VanderWaal released her new song “Waste My Time” today – listen HERE. The groovy track was penned by Grace and produced by Ido Zmishlany. In tandem with the new song, Grace also unveiled the official video. It features a concept that was visualized by Grace herself and directed by Blythe Thomas. Watch the video HERE.
Speaking about the song, Grace said, “It’s an ode to being young, living in the moment and not worrying about the big picture. This song is me saying ‘I don’t care" and a particular someone or something can be worth wasting my time on.’ ”
“Waste My Time” follows the release of “Ur So Beautiful,” which has over 6 million combined streams to date. Grace said the track is about both romance and self-confidence. She said, “This song is romantic but it’s also empowering – it can be directed at anything or anyone. It’s a note to self.”
Grace’s “Ur So Beautiful Tour” kicks off tomorrow at the Railbird Festival in Lexington, Kentucky. The 23-city U.S. headline tour will make stops in major cities across the U.S. including New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. For additional information on tickets, visit www.gracevanderwaal.com.
