7 sizzling acts hit Fallsview's stage this October

Fallsview Casino Resort announced an October lineup of performers including comedian Craig Ferguson, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and American rock bands Creedence Clearwater Revisited, and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas.

Kicking off the month is Twist and Shout, a high energy colorful show of song and dance that takes guests through a magical mystery tour to the '60s, where peace and flower power ruled the day. From Oct. 3-10, relive the greatest hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Four Seasons and many more iconic names.

On Oct. 11, for one night only, Ferguson will have audience members laughing endlessly at his storytelling and comedic timing. The Scottish-American Emmy Award-winning comedian is best known as the host of the CBS talk show “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”

The middle of October brings rock and country to Fallsview Casino. On Oct. 12, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas will perform chart-topping '80s favorites such as “Jane,” “We Built this City,” “Sara” and “Nothing's Gonna Stop us Now.” Then, on Oct. 17 and 18, Creedence Clearwater Revisited takes the stage with '60s and '70s hits such as “Born on the Bayou,” “Proud Mary,” “Fortunate Son,” “Down on the Corner” and “Bad Moon Rising.”

Throwing country into this lineup is Cyrus. Twenty-seven years after the phenomenon of “Achy Breaky Heart,” Cyrus is back and will showcase songs including his famous hit, plus “Could've Been Me,” “Butterfly Fly Away” and “Ready, Set, Don't Go,” on Oct. 19.

For two nights only, Oct. 20-21, Hong Kong's acclaimed singers Eric Suen and Vivian Lai, will entertain audience members with their classic Cantonese and Mandarin music from the '90s, and newly released singles.

Ending the month of October with a bang is “The Midtown Men, Stars from the Original Broadway Cast of Jersey Boys,” from Oct. 23-27. The high-octane musical group that took the Jersey Boys phenomenon to Broadway brings to life beloved songs of the '60s, such as “Can't Buy Me Love,” “Happy Together,” “Candy Girl” and “Bye Bye Baby.”
