The sun finally decided to shine on a Monday at the Town of Niagara’s Veterans Memorial Community Park, setting the stage for a perfect and calm environment for the debut of “Music Mania Mondays.”
The series opened up with “The Party Squad,” and was followed by headliner The History of Rock. Each band played a fair share of classic tunes for the debut audience.
In addition to the music, local food vendors sold their goodies throughout the night, the Town of Niagara Lions Club raised money for a scoreboard for the park’s baseball fields, and the VFW Post 313 ran a 50/50 drawing.
The “Music Mania Mondays” concert series continues at 6:30 p.m. June 24 with Route 66, followed by Head Games (a Foreigner tribute band) at 8 p.m.
