Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame accepting nomination/applications

The Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame is accepting nomination/applications for the 2019 induction until the end of June. Hard copies of completed forms and supplemental material must be received or postmarked no later than June 30. Criteria and forms are available through its Facebook page, via email at ​[email protected], or by contacting President Peter Paonessa Jr. by phone at 716-731-5584.

Selected inductees will be announced in late August/early September. This year’s induction ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Rapids Theater in Niagara Falls. Details about the event will soon be announced.

•The NFMusicHOF has announced its new board of directors and is celebrating its first year as an officially registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Members include President Peter Paonessa Jr., Vice President Bob Drozdowski, Secretary JoAnn Simon, Treasurer Dom Mitro and Sergeant-at-Arms Mark Dixon. Board members-at-large include: Frank Fracassi, Tom Gariano, Tony Nastasi, Lisa Sanders, Russ Vesci and Bruce Wojick.
