NBC Sports presents seven NHL games in seven days this week, highlighted by three games featuring Steven Stamkos and the league-leading Tampa Bay Lightning, including the first game of a “Wednesday Night Hockey” doubleheader at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN against Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers. “Wednesday Night Hockey” continues at 10 p.m., when Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks visit Ryan Getzlaf and the Anaheim Ducks.

Claude Giroux and the Philadelphia Flyers will host Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. tonight on NBCSN.

Philadelphia (29-26-7, 65 points) and Buffalo (29-24-8, 66 points) face off on Tuesday fighting to remain in the playoff race in the Eastern Conference, as they both chase Pittsburgh and Carolina (72 points). The Flyers are coming off a thrilling 4-3 overtime win in the 2019 NHL Stadium Series over the Penguins. Jakub Voracek scored late in the third period to force overtime while Giroux netted the game-winner in the extra session. The Sabres are coming off a 5-2 win against Washington on Saturday, led by Sam Reinhart’s hat trick.

Gord Miller (play-by-play) and Brian Boucher (“Inside-the-Glass” analyst) will have the call from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
