Tuesday night, the Niagara-Wheatfield boys swimming and diving team honored its 10 seniors prior to the Falcons’ meet versus Kenmore.
Additionally, as a show of appreciation, the Falcons mentioned the names of the Kenmore seniors and awarded the soon-to-be graduates with a small gift.
N-W seniors honored included Ethan Cooley, Chris Dyer, Nickolas Flaim, Joe Hahn, Dylan Loliger, Colin Pytlik, Cameron Racey, Brett Sitzman, and team captains Ben McKie and Tom Peltier.
Following the ceremony and brief pictures, the Falcons were defeated by Kenmore 103-83.
Winners for N-W included: The 200 medley relay team of Chris Congi, Peltier, Joe Dyer and Cole Scofield; Paul Wissel in the 200 IM; and Joe Dyer in 1 meter diving.
The boys next appearance is at the Niagara Frontier League meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grand Island High School.
