Nov. 30 event to celebrate best pizza on planet
"Niagara Falls, New York, has the best pizza options in the world. Chicken wings are only relevant because of pizza. These are party tray size statements, but we are ready to back them up."
So said Seth Piccirillo, director of Niagara Falls Community Development. The Cataract City will put this statement to test when Jingle Falls USA hosts the first "Festival of Slice" from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute.
Niagara Falls restaurants are invited to become vendors and sell their cheese pizza and specialty slices. There is no registration fee, and restaurants can sign up for the event at the following link:

Jingle Falls USA is a three-weekend holiday celebration in downtown Niagara Falls. Nov. 30 is the 2018 kickoff date, with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and candlelight parade taking place directly outside of the Culinary Institute.
"We are excited to bring a series of family-friendly events to the heart of Niagara Falls," Piccirillo said. "Like the holidays, pizza brings people together. Let's create a new Niagara Falls event while celebrating our strong culinary traditions."
The Culinary Institute is located at 28 Old Falls St., Niagara Falls.
