Last season, the two-time NWHL All-Star played for HC Lugano in the Swiss Women's Hockey League. In her only season in Switzerland, Bolden led her team's defensemen and ranked fourth overall with 27 points (16/11) in 20 games played.
A native of Cleveland, Bolden played collegiately at Boston College, where she ranks among the school's top 10 defensemen in career goals (tied-second, 26), assists (fifth, 56) and points (fifth, 82). During her tenure with the Eagles, she was named an AHCA Second-Team All-American and Hockey East's Best Defenseman in 2013, and garnered Hockey East First All-Star Team honors in 2012 and 2013.
