'The Chew' Crew is going back to its roots to celebrate family heritage through food

Nominated for a 2018 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Informative, "The Chew" celebrates life through food. Next up, co-hosts Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly and Carla Hall are going back to their roots to honor their family heritage in the kitchen.
"The Chew" listings for the week of April 23-27 are as follows (1 p.m., ABC, subject to change):
Monday, April 23 - "Field Day!" - Katie Couric ("Inside Out with Katie Couric") is cooking with Michael; "Coach Clinty" is helping a viewer with a new recipe; "The Chew's" own culinary producer, Laura Arnold, shares some mind-blowing tips.
Tuesday, April 24 - "Homemade's Tale" - Yvonne Strahovski ("The Handmaid's Tale") joins Clinton in the kitchen; Carla gives her take on a cookie recipe that is breaking the Internet; Michael and Wendi McLendon-Covey ("The Goldbergs") are cooking up something delicious.
Wednesday, April 25 - "DNA Dishes" - It's National DNA Day and Michael is making a dish inspired by his roots; Clinton is taking viewers back to basics; "The Chew" crew welcomes Jurnee, Jussie, Jake and Jazz Smollett (cookbook, "The Family").
Thursday, April 26 - "The Chew's Food Crawl" - Carla is cooking a dish to honor her Portuguese heritage; Ray Liotta joins Michael in the kitchen; Clinton's bar-inspired themed cocktails; "The Chew"-approved NYC food crawl.
Friday, April 27 - "Cooked from the Headlines!" - Katharine McPhee (Broadway's "Waitress") cooks a delicious dish to honor her family heritage; Carla pays a visit to chef Alexander Smalls (cookbook, "Between Harlem and Heaven"); Michael is sharing what to eat from the garden.
