NFROCKSUSA.COM to go live Feb. 21 with free concert
With a live music scene as legendary as the roar of Niagara Falls itself, the City of Niagara Falls has announced the creation of a new website, set to launch Wednesday, Feb. 21, designed to promote live music performances throughout the city.
From outdoor to classic live music venues or a local tavern's live music stage www.NFROCKSUSA.com will offer regular updates on upcoming shows and events in the City of Niagara Falls for residents and visitors alike.
Mayor Paul A. Dyster said, "Whether you're new to the rock 'n' roll scene here in the City of Niagara Falls or a seasoned veteran, the new 'NF Rocks USA' site will provide a comprehensive guide to some of the best and brightest musical talent our city has to offer. Thanks to Tommy Tedesco for his hard work in coordinating this exciting new resource, the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame and our friends at the Hard Rock for keeping rock 'n' roll alive and well here in Niagara Falls!"
Tedesco, the City of Niagara Falls tourism and business development coordinator, said, "The new 'NF Rocks USA' website will be a great tool that we'll now have to promote live music and live music venues throughout the City of Niagara Falls to the millions of tourists and locals alike. The water doesn't just fall in Niagara Falls, it rock 'n' rolls, too!"
To celebrate the website's launch, the City of Niagara Falls, in partnership with the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame and the Hard Rock Cafe, will host a free concert featuring inductee Bruce Wojick & The Struggle at the Hard Rock, 333 Prospect St., on Feb. 21 (8 p.m.).
Wojick said, "What an honor and pleasure it will be to do a show for the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame. Giving back to the city I was born in, still live in and still love will be amazing for myself and the band!"
The free show also includes the kickoff of the NFMusicHOF.org website, which was designed by the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame to recognize the musical talent and history of the City of Niagara Falls.
Nomination forms for the Hall of Fame Class of 2018 will be available to the public at the event. Additional information on the launch of NFRocksUSA.com can be found HERE.
