Singer/songwriter joins blockbuster tour for 12 March dates
Christian music's largest annual tour and one of the biggest first-quarter tours in the world, the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular has announced the addition of Dove Award-nominated Gotee recording artist Hollyn for a 12-date stint in March.
Joining the tour March 3 in Memphis, Hollyn will take the stage in Chicago; Kansas City; Ft. Worth, Texas; and Houston, among other cities, before Winter Jam's March 31 Eastern U.S. finale in Lexington, Kentucky.
The singer/songwriter's best-selling full-length debut, "One-Way Conversations," released last year. Hollyn is also featured on TobyMac's singles "Lights Shine Bright" and "Backseat Driver."
Known for showcasing various guest artists, athletes and other high-profile personalities throughout the tour, Winter Jam's recent stop in St. Louis featured an appearance by Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols, while Saturday's show in Atlanta spotlighted Grammy-nominated fan favorite Matthew West. In addition, last week's Winter Jam stop in Nashville included a performance from Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Francesca Battistelli, as well as appearances from ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck and his wife, former FOX News anchor Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
The blockbuster tour is also slated to feature Midwest native and NBC's "The Voice" runner-up Addison Agen at shows this weekend in Detroit and Indianapolis, as well as in the singer/songwriter's hometown, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Presented by Holt International, Winter Jam's 46-city Eastern U.S. tour is headlined by Platinum-selling and Billboard Music Award-winning rockers Skillet and also features Grammy-nominated recording artist and internationally-renowned worship leader Kari Jobe (featuring Cody Carnes); Grammy-nominated hitmakers Building 429; popular comedian and viral sensation John Crist; critically acclaimed breakout hip-hop recording artist KB; Grammy-nominated tour creators and hosts NewSong; Dove Award-winning chart-topper Jordan Feliz; and a message from author, speaker and evangelist Nick Hall.
In addition, the pre-jam party features award-winning worship artist Dan Bremnes and lauded Curb Records singer/songwriter Mallary Hope, along with new Baby Syndrome Records artist Westover.
Winter Jam is produced by Premier Productions and sponsored in part by Liberty University; Samaritan Ministries; Together (presenting the Winter Jam youth leader reception); the upcoming film "I Can Only Imagine"; LifeBook; Premier Vacations & Events; Camp Electric; Texas TransEastern; and Xtreme Conferences.
Winter Jam exploded from a single show in 1995 to become the genre's benchmark tour. Throughout two decades, Winter Jam has helped provide a powerful platform for the gospel in major arenas nationwide, consistently showcasing Christian music's top artists.
