Dychtiar to coordinate bariatric services at NFMMC

Diane Dychtiar, R.N., has been appointed coordinator of bariatric services at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Ontario, Dychtiar is a graduate of Niagara County Community College and the Mack School of Nursing in St. Catharines. She began her career as a registered nurse at Niagara Falls Memorial in 2005 and was most recently a nurse manager at Catholic Health System/Sisters of Charity Hospital.
Dychtiar has also been a nurse manager at Kaleida Health's Gates Vascular Institute, where she had oversight for 15 procedural laboratories, and previously worked at Strong Memorial Hospital, where she was a registered nurse on the step-down transplant unit.
In her new position, Dychtiar will work with Dr. Venkat Kolli and Dr. Vikram Vattipally to coordinate pre-surgical care and post-operative care and support services for bariatric patients.
