"Feel What U Feel" by Lisa Loeb, an Amazon Original, was awarded a Grammy for "Best Children's Album" on Sunday.
"I'm so excited about winning a Grammy Award for my album 'Feel What U Feel,' my second in a series of three albums I've made that are available exclusively on Amazon Music," Loeb said. "I appreciate that Amazon Music supports independent artists like me. It gives me tremendous artistic freedom and the ability to reach a large audience."
"Feel What U Feel" is inspired by Loeb's childhood memories and her experiences as a parent. The collection of 12 songs blurs the lines of traditional children's music, creating an album that can be enjoyed by both kids and parents alike.
Amazon Original playlists, songs and albums are available to both Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers and Prime Music listeners, offering unique, genre-spanning, exclusive music. In the past two years, Amazon Original albums have received three Grammy Award nominations: one in 2017 for the family album "Novelties" by Recess Monkey, and two this year, including Loeb's family album, "Feel What U Feel," and "Let My Mother Live" off the Blind Boys of Alabama's Amazon Music exclusive album "Almost Home."
In addition to Loeb and the Blind Boys of Alabama, Amazon Original has released hundreds of exclusive songs by various artists, and numerous albums, including "Worried Blues," a rare and exclusive collection of recordings by iconic Delta River artists by Fat Possum Records.
