Mark Carl named director of critical care & medical surgical at MSM

Mount St. Mary's Hospital has announced the appointment of Mark Carl, R.N., to the position of director of critical care and medical/surgical. The appointment was announced by Jessica Visser, vice president, patient care services.
Carl began his career at Mount St. Mary's in 2000 and has most recently served in the position of quality and patient safety clinical specialist. He is a graduate of Niagara County Community College, earned his BA at Baker College and Masters in health care administration at Capella University. He will oversee both the ICU/CCU and the third floor medical-surgical unit.
