LiveNF will host its first "Makers Market" in Third Street storefronts (400 block) on Saturday, Dec. 9. This event partners with the Power City Eatery "Santa's Workshop" on that same day (444 Third St.).
The "Makers Market" will be a one-day shopping experience featuring artists, artisans and crafters from Niagara Falls and the greater Western New York area. It will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The vendor application is available at www.livenf.com/makersmarket with a tabling fee of $25. Because of limited space, applications will be juried. Upon acceptance of an application, one will receive a confirmation email and a link to electronically process the tabling fee.
The LiveNF "Makers Market" is a part of a larger vision to support local artists who help to create a culture of creativity and positivity in the City of Niagara Falls.
"We look forward to creating an opportunity for talented local artists to connect with holiday shoppers in Niagara Falls," said Peter Heuer, a member of the LiveNF board of directors.
LiveNF is a local and volunteer-led civic organization with the mission of creating a sense of pride through events and interactions that get more people to stay in, move back to, or take a second look at the City of Niagara Falls.
