The Wound Center of Niagara at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has announced the addition of family medicine specialist Amandeep Pal, M.D., to its medical staff effective Aug. 1.
Pal, who maintains a busy private practice on Brockton Drive in the Town of Lockport, is a graduate of St. John's University and the Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, followed by a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
Pal is board-certified in family medicine and board eligible in both geriatric medicine and hospice/palliative medicine. He joins a team of physicians from such specialties as general, vascular and cardiothoracic surgery, podiatry and infectious diseases who offer comprehensive care services for chronic and non-healing wounds at the Wound Center, located on Niagara Falls Memorial's downtown Niagara Falls campus.
The Wound Center of Niagara is a two-time recipient of the Restorix Health Wound Center of Excellence award. The national recognition is awarded to centers that meet or exceed national wound care quality benchmarks in areas including healing outcomes and safety, along with a patient satisfaction rate of 95 percent or higher.
