KISS to perform outdoor show on Aug. 19
As the anticipation builds for one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is offering KISS fans a special way to capture the excitement.
The gaming and entertainment resort destination announced Friday it will offer a series of five collectible KISS casino chips. The first chip in the series, featuring guitarist Tommy Thayer in the iconic Spaceman makeup, went go on sale today. Customers can purchase the chip until 11 p.m. tonight and from 3-11 p.m. Saturday in the roulette pit at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.
The first four KISS casino chips will each feature an individual member of the band, and will sell for $5 each, while supplies last. The fifth and final chip will feature the entire band and sell for $25. A new chip will be released each Friday leading up to KISS' outdoor concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19. There is a limit of 10 chips per customer.
KISS is one of the biggest rock bands ever, and America's No. 1 gold record award-winning group of all-time. Known for their heart-pumping music, elaborate makeup, blood-spitting and explosive pyrotechnics, the hard-rocking New York City band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Over more than 40 years of music and record-breaking global tours, KISS has built an army of fans, played scores of major events and venues, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. With classics "Detroit Rock City," "Beth" and "Rock and Roll All Nite," KISS is ready to bring the summer heat to Niagara Falls.
General admission tickets are still available starting at $55. Doors will open for this special outdoor show at 6 p.m. on the day of the show. No outside food or drink allowed. Those under 18 will only be admitted with an accompanying paid adult.
