Patti LaBelle, the "Godmother of Soul," is bringing her talent to Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino for a night of entertainment inside the Seneca Niagara Events Center at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, July 21.
LaBelle is a legend by any standard. In over 50 years of recording, she has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. From her early days as lead singer and front woman for Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles, to her disco-era-defining hits with LaBelle, and on to her distinguished solo career, she has left her indelible mark on popular music.
Her long list of hit songs includes "Lady Marmalade," "You Are My Friend," "New Attitude," "Stir It Up" and "On My Own." Her accolades are just as countless as her hits. LaBelle has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame, and the Songwriters' Hall of Fame, while also winning numerous Grammy Awards, the Legend Award from the World Music Awards, and being included on Rolling Stone's list of 100 Greatest Singers.
