The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, will present Russian National Ballet Theatre in "Swan Lake" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, in the Mainstage Theatre, located at the Center for the Arts, North Campus. The performance is sponsored by M&T Bank.
The revered full-length ballet in four acts incorporates scenes of celebration, sadness and evil spirits, and is set to music by Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa. The classic love story of the Prince and Odette will be performed by the acclaimed company of 50 dancers, with set and costume designs by Elena Radchenko, Sergey Radchenko and Kiril Andreev.
