Returning to Atlanta's Georgia Dome Jan. 2-4

One of largest gatherings of college students to be held in US, conference among final events at Georgia Dome prior to planned 2017 demolition

More than 50,000 young adults from across the globe will gather to worship and hear from renowned speakers Monday, Jan. 2, through Wednesday, Jan. 4, for Passion 2017, returning to Atlanta's Georgia Dome for the first time since 2013.

Spearheaded by Passion Founders Louie and Shelley Giglio, attendees will hear from Christine Caine, Beth Moore, John Piper, Levi Lusko, Francis Chan and Katherine and Jay Wolf, while joining in worship led by Passion Band (helmed by Kristian Stanfill, Brett Younker and Melodie Malone), Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels and Hillsong UNITED.

Believing worship and justice are two sides of the same coin, Passion will continue a legacy of impacting the globe with justice, compassion and the name of Jesus. In the past few years, students have given more than $8 million to fight modern-day slavery through The END IT Movement, assisting in awareness, prevention, rescue and restoration.

While ending modern-day slavery is still a focus of Passion 2017, this year, students will participate in another meaningful effort, "Make History Together," with more information to be shared at Passion 2017. Additionally, attendees will bring tens of thousands of new towels and socks - two of the most needed items at local homeless shelters.

For the first time, Passion is opening up the night sessions for Passion alumni and adults over the age of 25, celebrating what God has done in the lives of people during 20 years of Passion. More info. and tickets are available at passiononenight.com.

Passion 2017 will be one of the last events in the Georgia Dome before its planned demolition in 2017.

Passion Conferences has been uniting college students around the world for the past 20 years, hosting over 50 events in more than 16 countries. For more information about Passion conferences, visit 268generation.com or follow @passion268 on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Passion's core Bible verse, Isaiah 26:8 states, "Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your truth, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our souls."
