Memorial adds physician assistant to its primary care medical team

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced physician assistant Heather Glose will join its primary care medical team effective Monday, Dec. 5.

Glose is a magna cum laude graduate of Daemen College, where she earned a master's degree in physician assistant studies and was a President's Scholarship recipient. She most recently worked in the Lockport family medicine office of Frederick J. Piwko, M.D.

A Lockport resident, Glose holds an advanced certificate in Partners in Health for People with Disabilities, a program designed to provide quality health services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has served as camp counselor at both the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp and MDA Summer Camp in Rush, near Rochester, where she helped children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities carry out activities of daily living.

Under the direction of Simmanjeet Mangat, M.D., she will provide patients care at the Niagara Falls Memorial Primary Care Center in the Golisano Center for Community Health, 533 10th St. For information or to schedule an appointment, call 716-278-4151.
