Syfy reveals results of Sharknado: The 4th Awakens social media campaign
Additional cameos, including Steve Guttenberg and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins, unveiled in latest update from the beloved Syfy franchise

Syfy is unveiling the results of the first-of-its-kind "Sharknado" social campaign - which invited fans to determine the fate of the beloved character April Wexler (Tara Reid). To find out April's fate, click HERE.
Additionally, Syfy announces the final wave of cameos for this summer's fourth installment, "Sharknado" The 4th Awakens," premiering at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, including appearances by Carrot Top, the Chippendales Dancers, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Girardi, Steve Guttenberg and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.

"Sharknado" The 4th Awakens" takes place five years after the East Coast was ravaged in last summer's "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!". Fin (Ziering), his family and the cosmos have been blissfully sharknado-free in the intervening years, but now sharks - and 'nados! - are being whipped up in places (and ways) least expected.
Reid returns as April Wexler, and David Hasselhoff (as Gil Shepard) and Ryan Newman (as Claudia Shepard) will also reprise their "Sharknado 3" roles. New additions to the "Sharknado" cast include Gary Busey, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs.
